Academy Program Description
The Academy program is a year-round program that provides the highest level of training that Suburban FC has to offer. It features a professional academy structure where players train Monday to Friday before or after school and play games on weekends. This program is the first of it's kind in Nova Scotia. It is targeted towards the top U13 and U15 players/teams at Suburban FC who have aspirations of playing at a higher level such as post-secondary or professional environments. Please note that this is an invite only program.
U17 Showcase Program Description
The Showcase program is a transition program for the Academy level player who is looking to continue their pathway to reach the post-secondary or professional level. Suburban FC's Showcase program provides the tools, opportunities and contacts to help players reach different pathways where they would be best suited. This program exposes players to post-secondary coaches from Canada and United States by attending showcase tournaments, friendlies and combines. Players in this program will be provided with a highlight tape and training in all 4 pillars of the game (Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological). Please note that this is an invite only program.

NEED TO KNOW
Schedules are subject to change based on facility availability. If location or time changes, communication will be sent out via TeamSnap.
Need financial assistance?
** We are a non-profit soccer club and we strive to balance low program fees (as low as possible) with superior coaching and training opportunities. If our fees present a barrier for your player, we encourage you to contact Suburban FC at email@example.com to discuss payment options. There are also opportunities for financial support available through KidSport and Jumpstart **
What happens if there is bad weather and field closures?
** Unfortunately due to time constraints, there will be no make-up sessions or pro-rated refunds due to poor weather / field closure. Field closures and extreme weather conditions are beyond our control. We will always strive to ensure that programming is offered when we have access to fields and it does not jeopardize the safety of our players. Any cancellations will be clearly communicated via TeamSnap. **
