What is SUPER SATURDAYS?!

Suburban FC is excited to bring back (by popular demand) SUPER SATURDAYS!

Simply put, this is a fun and competitive internal 4-week league where players will be placed on specific teams to battle to see who will be crowned our Fall Super Saturday Champs! Games are fast-paced, competitive & fun to create the best environment for our players. We have music playing, play-by-play announcers and staff around the fields to ensure the hype is real!

This allows us to get a closer look at all of our players in a competitive environment, which will help with Jr. Academy invites. If you are interested in joining our Jr. Academy program, Fall Super Saturdays is a great opportunity to showcase your skills!

  • This program is offered for the duration of 4 weeks

  • Dates: Sep 20, Sep 27, Oct 4, Oct 11

  • Location: BMO Soccer Centre (indoor)

  • Prizes/awards for individual players & teams (ex: MVP, top-scorer, HEART awards, etc)

  • Age groups: U7 (2019), U8 (2018), U9 (2017), U10 (2016), U11 (2015)

What Do The Fees Include?

  • Facility costs

  • Coaches - Lead and assistants

  • Registration with governing bodies (Soccer Nova Scotia & Canada Soccer)

  • Training Equipment

  • Administrative (operations, registration system, processing fees, etc.)

  • League Fees (games, facilities, administration, etc.)

  • Additional club operational costs

Location: BMO Soccer Centre

Times:

  • U7/8/9 Boys: 9:30am - 10:35am

  • U7/8/9 Girls and U10/11 Girls: 10:40am - 11:45am

  • U10/11 Boys: 11:45am - 12:50pm

Coaching

This program is led by the Skill Centre Program Managers and assisted by technical trainers, youth coaches and volunteer coaches. All coaches are a part of Suburban FC's Coach Development Program.  

Uniforms

T-shirts will be supplied for every player. We ask that they wear their blue Suburban shorts and socks. Please provide the player’s requested shirt size on the registration form.

Need to Know

Schedules are subject to change based on facility availability. If location or time changes, communication will be sent out via TeamSnap.

Parent and Player Requirements

Players and parents must abide by the Policies and Procedures of the club.

What happens if there is bad weather and field closures? 

** Unfortunately due to time constraints, there will be no make-up sessions or pro-rated refunds due to poor weather / field closure. Field closures and extreme weather conditions are beyond our control. We will always strive to ensure that programming is offered when we have access to fields and it does not jeopardize the safety of our players. Any cancellations will be clearly communicated via TeamSnap.  **
