Fletcher Wellard Signs for Charlton Athletic FC Academy

Congratulations to former SFC Academy player Fletcher Wellard who has signed an Academy contract with Charlton Athletic Football Club.

Fletcher joins the South-East London club after impressing in recent trial matches vs Chelsea & Norwich FC. Fletcher joins the Academy that has seen over 50 graduates make men's first-team appearances since 2014 - including the likes of Nick Pope, Joe Gomez, Ademola Lookman, Ezri Konsa and Joe Aribo.

Fletcher spent 3 seasons in the Suburban FC Academy program from 2022-2024 before he & his family moved to the UK.
