SFC’s Munn signed by Vancouver Whitecaps

Congratulations to SFC’s Connor Munn who has been signed to MLS Club, Vancouver Whitecaps’, Academy program.

The 2008-born defender has been a standout throughout his years at Suburban. A massive part in the 2008-boys several Provincial titles & National Championship appearances, Connor will be heading out West this Summer to push himself against some of the very best in Canada who are all competing to get to the highest level of football in Canada.

Here’s what Connor had to say about his journey & experience at SFC:

“Suburban FC, the first competitive club I played for set such a high standard of coaching and professionalism every day. I wouldn’t be here today without Jessie Burgins and Ollie Hewish. The way they maintained such high standards for our club and team, and pushed us all so much”.

“Suburban gave me the foundation I needed. The coaching was top-notch, and the professionalism at the club helped set the standard for how to train and compete. It opened so many doors for me and played a huge role in getting me to where I am now”.

“My coaches at Suburban, Jessie, Ollie, and Talal helped me build on my strengths and grow as a person & player. The environment was competitive but supportive, and it taught me how to train with purpose and push myself. I’m really grateful to have come through a club like that”.
